Peerflix
Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Peerflix. It's the peer-to-peer network that the RIAA and MPAA can't touch. Why, you ask? Because it's made 100% legal by the Doctrine of First Sale.
Right now the service only applies to DVDs, but CDs and video games are on the way. Check it out, give it a try, exercise your first-sale rights, f@$% the MPAA, and watch some cheap-ass movies in the process. Win-Win-Win.

Trade-burn-trade is no more or less viable with Peerflix than it is with Netflix or with any B&M rental place. Now, as far as legal business goes...
Peerflix and Netflix have two major advantages over traditional renting: no return date and a wider selection of titles. Now, Considering just the *flix services...
Netflix has the advantage for high-volume movie watchers, since the price is a flat rate and delivery is speedy. Peerflix, however, offers a very cheap service that is priced by the transaction.
I watch, at most, one movie a month, so paying $1.36 for a Peerflix movie sure beats $9.99/mo for the cheapest Netflix subscription or a few bucks for a B&M rental that makes me drive to and from a store.
